Laura Beagle moved to the Asheville area from Chicago to attend the North Carolina School of Natural Healing's extensive Massage Therapy program in January of 2003. After graduation, Laura promptly passed the National Certification Test for Certified Massage Therapists, got her North Carolina license, and opened her practice in February of 2004. In March of 2004 Laura attended a (34 hour) pregnancy and post-partum massage training and was certified by Kate Jordan, who is nationally recognized as a leader in the field. Along with her doula skills, Laura offers continuity, comfort, and a trusting relationship with the pregnant women who seek care. She believes that continuity of care makes a remarkable difference in the process of birthing. Laura combines deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, cranial sacral therapy, and reiki to offer a holistic bodywork experience for pregnant and non-pregnant bodies.
